What does the itinerary look like?
The itinerary is designed to explore the island’s most iconic spots: wild beaches, dragon blood tree forests, hidden caves, and golden dunes. Includes hiking, dolphin-watching boat rides, and snorkeling in protected areas. Most nights are spent camping for full immersion.

When and how should I book flights?
Flights are not included, but we offer full assistance. The main route is via Abu Dhabi, often requiring an overnight stay. We recommend booking flights right after trip confirmation, as availability is limited.

Do I need a visa?
Yes, a visa is required to enter Socotra. It costs approximately USD 150 and will be arranged by our local team to simplify the process.

What clothing should I bring?
Bring light, breathable, and comfortable clothing suitable for a hot, dry climate. Also pack swimwear, hiking shoes, and a light jacket for the evenings. As Socotra is a Muslim destination, modest dress (covering shoulders and knees) is recommended when possible.

Are there any health precautions?
While no vaccines are mandatory, we recommend a pre-travel health consultation. Bring a first-aid kit with basic medication, sunscreen, and repellent. Travel insurance with medical coverage is mandatory.

What happens if the trip is canceled?
If the trip is canceled by us, a travel credit voucher will be issued. If the cancellation comes from the traveler, standard cancellation terms apply. We recommend travel insurance with cancellation coverage.

To secure your spot on a group trip, a 30% deposit of the total trip cost is required upon registration via our website.

If the program includes internal flights, their cost will be automatically included in the initial 30% deposit, as they must be issued at the time of confirmation.

International flights can be booked through our agency or independently. However, they should only be purchased after official trip confirmation by Vooviver.

Vooviver guarantees trip confirmation up to 60 days before departure, provided the minimum number of participants is reached.

The remaining balance must be paid no later than 60 days before departure, after official confirmation.

If the trip cannot take place for reasons attributable to the organization, the amount already paid will be converted into a travel credit voucher, redeemable for:
